Overview

We’re committed to protecting the privacy of all Personal Information that we collect including from Wagering Service Providers, Wagering Service Platforms and Controlling Bodies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, protect, use and share Personal Information.

We may review and change this policy from time to time. Whenever we do, we’ll update this version located at https://www.aiintegrityprotection.com/privacy-policy and notify Wagering Service Providers, Wagering Service Platforms and Controlling Bodies as soon as reasonably practicable.

Below are definitions that are used throughout this document:

 

  • ‘AIIP Pty. Ltd.’, or ‘AI Integrity Protection (ACN 627 086 453)’, is the company behind TMS.
  • ‘TMS’ is the application or platform and services related to it. TMS has the same Privacy Policy as AIIP Pty. Ltd.
  • ‘Controlling Body’ is the regional peak regulatory and administrative organisation for each sporting or racing industry. Please note that not all sporting and racing Controlling Bodies send data to TMS.
  • ‘Wagering Service Platform’ is the software application used by Wagering Service Providers. Please note that not all Wagering Service Platforms send data to TMS.
  • ‘Wagering Service Provider’ is any on-course bookmaker or operator authorised to accept and pay off bets on racing,  sporting and other events. Please note that not all Wagering Service Providers send data to TMS.
  • ‘Personal Information’ includes a broad range of information, or an opinion, that could identify an individual.

Personal Information we collect

We collect Personal Information in two different ways – directly and indirectly.

    Personal Information we collect directly

    If you contact us with an enquiry, we will collect your Personal Information in order to assist you with your enquiry.

    This can include names, date of births, addresses, email addresses etc. We don’t collect special categories of your Personal Information such as race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, political beliefs, etc.

      Personal Information we collect indirectly

      TMS is a platform that collects and holds Personal Information to provide integrity services for Controlling Bodies. TMS receives Personal Information from Wagering Service Providers, Wagering Service Platforms and Controlling Bodies.

      Personal information can include names, dates of birth, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses. Examples of Personal Information we collect are:

      • Account data, e.g. Wagering Service Provider customer account data.
      • Restricted participant data, e.g. Controlling Body authorised representative data.

      We do not collect any special categories of Personal Information, otherwise known as sensitive information. This includes details concerning race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinion, trade union membership, or information concerning health, genetic or biometric data. Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offenses.

      How this information is used

      The Personal Information we collect is used for operating TMS which supports Controlling Bodies’ integrity functions.

      How this information is disclosed

      We will not sell or rent Personal Information. In rare circumstances, we may be obliged to disclose Personal Information if the disclosure is required to comply with the law, if we believe it is necessary to protect our legal rights, or if the ownership and assets of AIIP Pty. Ltd. were to be transferred to another party.

      The security of your Personal Information

      We take security seriously. Data is always encrypted, stored in state-of-the-art facilities, access is restricted only to those who have a need to know, and we regularly review our technology to maintain security.

      We will not, unless legally required, disclose Personal Information outside of Australia.

      In the event of a breach where Personal Information we’ve collected is directly at risk, Wagering Service Providers, Wagering Service Platforms, Controlling Bodies and if required the Office of the Australian Information Commission (OAIC) will be notified within 30 days of discovering the breach. They will be informed of what information is at risk, steps taken to ensure Personal Information safety, and actions we have taken to rectify the breach.

      Access, correct or delete Personal Information

      We receive Personal Information from Wagering Service Providers, Wagering Service Platforms and Controlling Bodies.

      If you need to request access, correct or delete your Personal Information please reach out to the relevant Wagering Service Providers, Wagering Service Platforms and/or Controlling Bodies to which you have supplied your Personal Information in order to access, correct or delete your Personal Information.
